The grief associated with the loss of your baby can be overwhelming.

You are not alone.

We want to support and join you on your journey through the pain of miscarriage and stillbirth. Our team of compassionate volunteers who have also faced the darkness of losing a baby themselves, aim to serve you by supporting and grieving with you. We personally deliver a basket to your home during your physical recovery. We also invite you to our grief support group that meets once a month.

  • Grief Support Group

    We have partnered with Isaiah 61 Ministries who offers a support group for mothers suffering the loss of a baby. The group is facilitated by a compassionate volunteer that has experience with group grief counseling.

  • Baskets

    We personally deliver baskets to recovering mothers in Augusta County who have recently faced the loss of their baby, or if a mother prefers, we can ship it to her home for $10. Each basket is thoughtfully created with the intent to let each mother know she is loved and seen. She is not alone or forgotten. If you have gone through a loss and would like a basket for yourself, these baskets are free of charge.

    If you know someone that would benefit from one of our baskets, and you would like to send one, the cost is $40, inclusive of shipping and is tax deductible.

    Each basket contains information on our grief support group and a coupon for a free visit with our midwife, if desired, to receive support, medical care, and prepare for a future pregnancy.

Midwifery care after a loss

Heather Soper, CNM offers post-miscarriage or stillbirth visits to discuss your loss and your physical and emotional healing, including when to know you are ready to conceive again and how to prepare for a future pregnancy after a loss. Heather is also able to prescribe progesterone and obtain lab work to reduce the chances of another loss.
